    hi, sorry been away a while, Yes the bowl un screws, and yes probably has a replacement shorter stem by the gap in the case. So a Captain Warren then.... thanks .. had never heard of one.

    Hi folks, Just picked this Peterson , which seems to be an early version but am not sure. The Dublin hallmark looks like a C, which looks like 1944 No stamps on the briar i can see. I appreciate any advice or opinion regarding the date of this pipe. Many thanks in advance Scott.
