Pretty sure STG won't, or will ask an absurd price. Kind of like putting a non compete on an employee you laid off. They seem intent on eliminating any competition, which seems to be what is behind the razing of Sutliff as opposed to putting it up for sale. I hope I am wrong.- Pipercat

They have a funky smell that can transferr to the tobacco. Glass is probably a bad idea, will definitely break if the ammo can is droped and not efficient use of space. HU Tobacco Coming to the States
Have tried Zulu, Night Owl, and Directors cut so far. Also opened The Untouchables and it scares me, lol, cedar and rose? I may be crazy, but both Zulu and Directors Cut seem to have a kind of mint playing in the background, not at all bad, just different. Both were better on the wet side...- Pipercat

9mm Charcoal Filter Brand Comparisons
I use Vauen pretty much exclusively. Found wetting the end of the filter that you put into the stem helps if it is a bit loose. Worst 9mm pipe I have is a White Elephant, I guess that is why their filters are slightly larger in diameter? Chacom are the best for 9mm, they have a slight taper...- Pipercat

Mason Jar Lid Rusting
They look to be having quality control issues of late. Found (by slicing my finger when cleaning it) a shard of molten glass jutting up from the bottom of a new ball jar. Frog Morton's Cellar and C&D Star of the East Flake

Anise / Licorice
I am getting a very slight anise flavor from the new Kopp 1919, but only strait from the tin (unless my nose is lying to me, no promises😅). It fades quite a bit when dried, but still a very nice blend, especially for the price.- Pipercat
