Cleaning Meerschaums
Meers and cobs for the win. Only things I seem to smoke these days. Cool smoke, good flavor from the tobac, and no hassles. Also, far cheaper for a good meer than for a good briar. -

But to say on topic, I'm finding that I'm enjoying a bent pipe a bit more these days, only the smoke tends to get in my eyes, but the "slipstream" of smoke is nice in the nose. Adds to the experience well. But the bit in the eyes vexes me. Don't have that issue with my straights. Wonder if... -

I'll add my voice to Kevin's. I like Mac Baren blends quiet a bit, but most of their non-english blends do seem to have a comonality in flavor profiles. Reminds me of honey. I wonder if you could trace it back to a single source for their tobacco, meaning that they use the same variety of...- peter

I like small ones (pipes, that is)
That looks to be about the size of my meer. I too tend to prefer the smaller pipes. Just seem easier to manage or sqeeze in. -

How Many Times a day do you smoke?
That sounds outstanding, Bruce! Usually average about 3 to 4 bowls a week here, I guess. Not always a lot of time to slow down and properly enjoy one.- peter

Pimp Your Corncob with a Cool Stem
This couldn't have come at a better time. I was just going through my collection of cobs checking steps. Had to toss two away due to a poor bend. Figured I'd keep the bowls and shanks in case I had a burn out or something. Now I can get new stems!!!! These kids have their hippy-dippy weed...- peter
