Hello everyone. I started collecting pipes this year. I started because one of the fellows I do WW2 reenacting with showed us the German pipe he has that is small enough to fit in the chest pocket of his British BD jacket and that got me interested in getting a pipe. Stummel Words vs Stem Mark
Thank you for your suggestion. Here the photo of my pipe: The pipe here has a yellow dot instead of the KBB Circle. so, I am thinking the stem has been swapped out, unless KBB did use dots at one time. -

hello, I have KBB Crosby imprinted on the stummel and the stem has a yellow dot- not a circle. After looking up maker marks I did not see a yellow dot for KBB pipes, though it fits nicely. Does any know if they are both KBB or perhaps is the stem swapped out? I am just starting my pipe...
