    Stem taste like smoke/ash

    You might be making an assumption that this is impacting the quality of the smoke. Unless the stem is nasty dirty, I don’t think you need to worry about it affecting the taste.

    Depends on the blend. Some are rough towards the last 1/4, some are good to the last drop. Maxwell House.

    Been sitting on a tub of Captain Black Grape for a while. Broke it out today with a glass of bourbon. I’m not ashamed to say, this is good stuff. Ok… it’s my 2nd glass of bourbon but I don’t think it’s impacting my judgement.

    Tongue burn question

    My biggest problem when I started was definitely packing too tight. The tight draw was a killer on my tongue. Once I figured that out, sipping was easy and no more tongue bite.
