Christening my new “Matches” pipe
Recently won a bid for this 320KS Grezza, and received it in the mail today. What a beauty! My first tomato. I love how substantial it feels in hand. Had to pack it with some Haunted Bookshop for the first smoke. -

Pipe shapes for blend types
I often see folks say a particular blend performs really well in a particular pipe shape. What has your experience been? Any rules of thumb (eg. english blends perform well in a larger bowl).- oddfellow

Hemp Twine for Lighting Your Pipe
Thought I'd share how I light my pipe, as it works really well for me, and I don't see it used a whole lot. I like to use hemp twine coated with bees wax. I'll wrap it around a cheap pipe nail for convenience. I use a bic lighter to light it, which may seem a bit redundant. It works like a...- oddfellow

It was Copper Canyon in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. I usually go for Riegel's when I make it to Ft. Wayne, but they are closed on Sunday's. My wife wanted to drive to pick up some books today. I was able to negotiate a stop at a tobacconist! The shop had a surprisingly great selection of tins.
