    So basically I bought this Guildhall pipe and when I looked inside there was something wrong with the place where the wood that stops the mortise normally is. I cant tell if thats the way the pipe was or if someone broke it. Am I gonna have problems?

    I got a Stanwell POTY 1995 from a reputable seller, but sadly because of the flight from the US to here the temperature must have messed with the stem. Now it fits waaaay to tight, any advice?

    Do you think these little cracks and dings could be a problem? The only one that Im really concerned about is the one I zoomed into, you can see it better on the 2nd picture. Any advice is appreciated.
