Just bought my second and third new pipe
I got these two today from a local shop in Northern Denmark. I visited Hjørring Vinhandel, who turned out to have a very decent selection of pipes and tobacco. It's a Nørding Compass Poker, and a Cosmos Mercury, although I believe Mercury stands for the finish used on the pipe. I already... -
Am i smoking too hot, if smoke comes out of the chamber?
Thanks! I also sometimes suspect the wind gets it smoking, but today it was only a very light breeze, and sometimes even stronger winds won't affect the amount of smoke coming out of the chamber. So it is not consistent, but it makes sense that there are multiple factors in play- Molvorin

Am i smoking too hot, if smoke comes out of the chamber?
I have noticed that some times, I get quite a lot of smoke coming out of the chamber of my pipe. Other times there is none. Can this be a sign that I am smoking too hot/fast, or does this have other reasons?- Molvorin

Ends of the Bowls Getting Acrid
I thought this was normal - and it's called the dottle. The lower part of the tobacco gets too humid, and will taste bad because of this. As far as I understand, it could be caused by several reasons, including too damp tobacco, too fast smoking, or even the temperature and humidity of the air...- Molvorin

So Much Information Everywhere, Yet..
The way i see it, asking in a dedicated forum is way better than doing research online. On the web, you only get one persons' opinion and answer. In a forum, or discord server, you get a lot more varied replies and discussions among the people who answered, on why their answer is the right one...- Molvorin
