Does anyone care to help me reconcile why it is we can appreciate sour notes in our pipe tobacco, but must never allow a pipe to sour? I get that a sour pipe is a bad thing, as it will impart a sour taste to everything smoked in it. At least with sour tobaccos one can choose not to smoke them...- Johnny_Pipecleaner

All I’m saying is I reckon we’d see more complaints around here if stems were regularly breaking on folks’ $400-$1000+ Castello pipes. Good on you for repairing these fine pipes when issues do arise though.- Johnny_Pipecleaner

Good to know. My price of $140 breaks down to about $25 per 1.75oz tin, plus a free 3oz of bulk VRC, and $15 for USPS Priority shipping.
