Classic Dunhill shapes that will accept 6mm filters?

Does anyone know which classic Dunhill shapes (1960s and earlier) that will accept 6mm filters without any modification to the original stem? Thanks in advance.

    Peretti Burleys

Opinions on these? My daily is PA, not sure which Peretti offering would be closest to this.

The Comfort They Can't Take Away

For absolute discretion, try Oliver Twist chewing tobacco bits. No spit, no "bulge". Delicious stuff.

    Overturned meerschaum screwed-in stem

I was not able to remove or even slightly unscrew tenon from stem, so I ended trying the "drop-of-superglue-on-tenon" trick. It worked! Pipe is new old stock from the 1950s I think. Only identifyer was a "Made in Italy" tag.

Here is a photo. It may be bone?

    Overturned meerschaum screwed-in stem

I have a Meerschaum pipe with what I believe is a meerschaum screw-in tenon inside a plastic stem. It has been overturned so it is misaligned. It there a fix to this issue? I already tried heating the tenon (immersed in boiling hot water), reattach in correct position and let it cool. That did...

    Stealth Blends for Family Vacation

The Prince Albert recommendation is based on many years research with the assistance of my hyper-sensitive wife. It appears any blend with even a smidgen of Virginia, Perique, Oriental or Latakia is bad for residual odor. Even aromatics like Captain Black Original is a no-go. However, PA has...

Farewell Sutliff Tobacco Company - Monday 3/4/25

This is true. I recently bought some tobacco from Milan Tobacconists and it was obvious to me that "their blend" is really just repackaged or slightly modified Sutliff tobacco. Nearly every brick and mortar store in the US that sells "their own" bulk tobacco was completely dependent on...

    Is SWR Still Unsmokable Vinegar?

Curious if STG has listened to the complaints and made any changes to their Sir Walter Raleigh production. Anyone tried this recently? Does it still reek/taste like vinegar?

Välkommen! What pipe tobacco can you find in Swedish stores? I know the selection was very slim in Norway.

Immediate Favorites That Later ... Aren't.

Common mistake: have a fantastic first bowl of a blend, then immediately buy tons of said blend for cellaring only to realize that subsequent bowls never measure up to that first bowl experience.

    Waterflush Cobs & Meers?

I have always waterflushed my briars after each smoke. I have found it to be the perfect way to keep a pipe clean and fresh. My question is, can you regularly run water through cobs, meers and clay pipes as well without any adverse effects? Thanks in advance.

Lots of Smokes in a can of Prince Albert

Interesting that the ad states 2oz of Prince Albert is enough for 50 "pipefuls". So 25 smokes per ounce. Most people nowadays would suggest an ounce of tobacco is barely enough for 10 bowls.
