P-Lip on Pipes Other Than Peterson
Pioneer used a P-lip on some of their pipes also..I got a Peterson XL305 old style bowl at a CORPS Show one year. It had a P on the stem but it was more of a script P. Ordered a new Peterson stem for it. Seems like everyone made a knock-off Peterson System line.- funn

How Many Names For 1Q?
At Fader's of Baltimore it's called Unique...I mix my own version of RLP-6 by adding BCA to it. I read or heard somewhere that this is the blend Eisenhower smoked before Mamie made him quit,..hence the name I-Q, being close to Ike... Funn- funn

Crooks Just Suck
Same happened to me w/my credit card..they saw small purchases country wide that was out of the norm for me..Gave me a new number and card & wasn't charged for the scam. Now I'm thinking out moving my bread to my credit union. Don't like the idea of being charged for something I can do myself...- funn

A few tips on Aromatics
I've found recently (past 3 years) in my pipe smoking life (since the 60's) that if you pack an aromatic lightly and smoke slowly you can taste the flavoring along with the tobacconess (Funn Dictionary) of the blend. This doesn't work with the cheaper blends made with inferior tobaccos. But this...- funn

Dedicating Pipes To Particular Tobaccos.
I've "catagorized" my pipes to the different catagories of tobaccdos I smoke. And I smoke everything, English, Virginias,Burly,Aromatics,Crossovers, Crossunders. I have a few pipes dedicated to a specific blend. I find that I can get a real taste, I guess, of the tobacco not being "ghosted' by... -

I have been wearing out their Va. Longcut a very mild Virginia. I've been enjoying the Balkan Supreme, and have some of their other English blends jarred up. Best bang for the buck and all quality smokes...so far the ones I've tried....- funn
