PS LNF v Va. Slices 507C

We all know you have a good ability to taste, so I am not shocked that you landed there on your own.

PS LNF v Va. Slices 507C

I got confirmation that OGS is distinct. However, reading between the lines, when pressed on how different, suddenly the discussion was over. I believe it is close enough to be considered a minor variation.

    US Pipe Tobacco Companies ?

Nope. But you'll see the boutique blenders missing all kinds of stuff Sutliff did for them. You are missing many of my points. But it is cool. Set in your ways, as am I.

    US Pipe Tobacco Companies ?

507C is not their only flake. It was made by STG, but far from their only flake. And yes, when a company says, "Can you make a cool flake for us?" and Sutliff designs the blend, uses their own leaf, blends it, presses it, cuts it, tins it, and designs the label for them, I would call it a...

    US Pipe Tobacco Companies ?

Raw leaf, straight out of the primary at Sutliff. Straight Rustica, in thousand pound bails, just for a project we were working on. A warehouse with over $2 million in raw leaf. Odd.

    US Pipe Tobacco Companies ?

Some consumers chose to see what they wanted to see. In Jeremy's decade there, he dispelled a lot of these myths, but some chose to cling to an old idea.I wonder what these bricks of tobacco were for if not flakes. All of the Pipe Force flakes were made at Sutliff. L.J. Peretti anniversary flake...

    US Pipe Tobacco Companies ?

This is all factually incorrect. They processed the leaf. They had the only conditioner in the US for a long time. And a bonded warehouse full of the raw bails of tobacco. Gooping leaf was a vast minority of what they did. They made all of SPC, a ton of Peretti, much of Watch City. I was in the...

    US Pipe Tobacco Companies ?

C&D was much smaller than Sutliff was.

A Question For Mr. Grey, Crashing Type, The... Are You in This Movie?

I am definitely not, but Bill and his dad are. And that was really Blondie. They filmed in one of the old Kaywoodie factories. Bill has great stories about this. Glad someone found it.

What's The Cure for Briar -and does it Make A Difference?

Fair assessment. It hurts some days when it feels like people are disparaging factory pipes, as some are made from people steeped in the tradition that supports artisan pipes. Without that knowledge, there would be no expensive pipes.

    Tobacco Reviews Site

Sutliff was in the process of fixing the search function. It was working so much better before STG took it over. It was fine until this issue, which is hopefully resolved soon.

Kaywoodie. Lol. There is one in there and a few more in the 200 pipes I made for Chicago.
