I've smoked cigarettes since High School, and started collecting pipes when my Papaw passed away, starting with his. Pipe tobacco always tasted off due to my pallet was adjusted to the cigarettes. I am trying to break the cigarette habit to switch to the tobacco pipe. I've collected many Ben Wades, Caminetto's, a few Savenelli's and Preben Home pipes, However my favorite is an Il Cepo. I am here to learn how to care for, and smoke my pipes, to fully enjoy them. I've learned a few not to do things, and am hoping to learn the proper what to do things. Any and all help, suggestions, or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank You for tolerating a Newbie to your way of life. ~Dave~

A pipe is the fountain of contemplation, the source of pleasure, the companion of the wise; and the man who smokes, thinks like a philosopher and acts like a Samaritan.
