I have seen other Table lighters with that same piece missing. Not sure what the monoblock is, but I have a part which goes behind (towards the interior) the hinge pin. It had obviously been recently disassembled and came apart very easily. Interestingly, there was a thin metal strip under the spring box (thanks for that!).
