    Organic pipe tobacco brands?

Jeremy Reeves addressed a question similar to this in one of the recent Pipes Magazine Radioshows. This radioactive issue never came up though. He said that after processing and aging that there is a minuscule amount of residual chemicals from the growing process, way less than 1% if I remember...

    Wet Shave

It is much better shave and very economical. I found this tobacco scented shaving cream that was made in honour of my old barber. He recommended that I use these blades after I started using a safety razor about a dozen years ago. The shaving cream lasts me about two years. I bought a whole...

Travel to Mexico City / Smoking Laws

If you own a private residence in Mexico City, that would be your only place to legally smoke. If a hotel provides a designated smoking area, it is still illegal under their law as far as I know.

***What Are You Smoking, September 2025?***

The last of a tin of 2024 Sun Bear Black Locust in a natural finish Anima pipe with a honey pot rustication. This pipe has never been smoked by me and it looks like it was only smoked once after I got it as an estate. I will dedicate this to Sun Bear or honey cased tobaccos. It sure tastes good...

How Do Yanik Figural Pipes Smoke?

I am not sure about his figural pipes. I have a S.Yanik straight pot that has good drilling and smokes fine. The stem is more like an orifice bit that is fairly large and round, so I can only guess that his carving is most important and stems are not his first priority.

***What Are You Smoking, August 2025?***

Started the day on the road with the Black Meerschaum and Five Brothers, followed by C&D Epiphany in the Andreas Bauer silver spigot meerschaum, then Sun Bear Black Locust 2024, Opening Night and now Sansepolcro 2024 in the Black Meerschaum. Both of these pipes are 9mm.

    SmokingPipes.com killed VIP’s

They sent me Christmas cards for bronze level but I don’t think I’ll even get that this year. A t-shirt sounds much better than a blank card.

***What Are You Smoking, August 2025?***

Lovats are a favourite shape of mine as well. This one reminds me of something Scottie Piersel would make. It definitely does not have a metal tube going through the bamboo, which is my preference. If bamboo shanks can be considered more round, I don't know if they could be oval unless they...

***What Are You Smoking, August 2025?***

Cornell & Diehl Burley Flake #3 in a Vauen Solitaire. This pipe is so big I’ve never smoked it before.
