How Old When You Smoked Your First Pipe?
I smoked my first pipe and the young age of 36. I made my first pipe at the tender age of 37 and was hooked on the whole pipe world after that, and still make em today with as much wonder about the wood as I did that very first pipe that I made.- briarbrian

Loose Stem Fixes?
I usaully just take the stem out, light a lighter and wave it under the tenon and turn the stem while doing this to heat the tenon only. Then after it is heated just run it under cool water. Stem Oxidation
Yes tripoli will remove the staining on the stem. Then buff it with the white diamond after and then wax it and it will be shiney as new again. Just make sure you buff the stem on the pipe.
