I called Sutliff 2 years ago about this. I spoke directly to the production manager whose name escapes me. He told me that it’s a chemical reaction between the tobacco and a coating they used on the black paper. It’s not salt or sugar or mold plume. It’s something else. He also mentioned...- Auxsender

Yeah. I thought about that after I made my post. I had an issue with some Steamworks in 2023 and they hooked me up but it was a new tin. How do they make up for 8 years of aging? Surely they can’t. One of the risks of cellaring I suppose.- Auxsender
