Please Americans - Help a Canadian Piper!

Hi folks, I live in Montreal. I just broke up with my Vermont girlfriend. I have about 40 Tins of sealed tobacco there, that I was slowly bringing back home, 4 tins at a time, as per border patrol allowance. Now that we've left each other, I want my tobacco! Is there anyone who can take it...

Difference Between Red VA & Dark VA?

Hi, I know about most varietals and their differences but I know that I don't like Red VAs (like in GLP Stratford), but I do like Dark VAs (like in SG Best Brown, Rattrays Marlin). So what is different about them? Thanks

Tasty VaPer Like Bayou Morning Flake But With Less Nicotine?

Hi! I really love Bayou Morning Flake but I just can't smoke it, I'm sensitive to nicotine. I usually smoke Balkans (Skiff) or Scots (Red Rapparee) and as you probably know are not very strong nicotine-wise. I love flavor, especially the taste of perique. Is there something in between the very...

Absolute Mildest Nicotine With Latakia and/or Orientals

I understand that charcoal filters are better at filtering nicotine than balsa correct? I wanted to get a small pipe, like a Savinelli Minuto but that has a 6mm instead. Any disadvantages of going with a 6mm compared to 9mm? Thanks

Absolute Mildest Nicotine With Latakia and/or Orientals

Thank you! I'm in Canada but I do get Sam Gawith here. Any other specific recommendations that you find doesn't ever give you a nic hit apart from Skiff?

Absolute Mildest Nicotine With Latakia and/or Orientals

I love the taste, smell and experience but can't stand the nicotine. Are you saying there's no compromise? That I won't be able to find a blend that will not give me anxiety?

Absolute Mildest Nicotine With Latakia and/or Orientals

Unfortunately I find this has almost no flavor. Got anything richer in taste?

Absolute Mildest Nicotine With Latakia and/or Orientals

Hi, I can't take nicotine anymore -- it gives me anxiety. I haven't smoked the pipe or cigars for months because of it. But I miss the pipe so much, I am willing to try a last effort at finding a blend that doesn't give me a panic attack. What is the absolute mildest blend in terms of nicotine...

    Recommendations From My Favorites?

Hi! I'm quite picky when it comes to cigars. I love flavor, but not too full bodied. I don't like nicotine-heavy sticks. Here are my favorites; What do you recommend? Quai D’Orsay No.50 Vegueros Entretiempos Romeo & Julieta Mille Fleur Plasencia Reserva El Corojal Toro Oliva Serie G 50 Thanks

From Cigars to Pipes or Pipes to Cigars?

Fair points. Another point is that, precisely because of cost, I will smoke less frequently and make it a real luxury. I smoke only great cigars (still reasonably priced within the context of cigars) instead of smoking daily and settling for less magical tobacco.

From Cigars to Pipes or Pipes to Cigars?

Another reason on top of the no fuss is that the flavor is richer in the cigar. Also, I prefer the taste of fresh tins, and I have a bunch of cellared tobacco so I'll have to sell it anyway, to those who prefer cellared/aged.

From Cigars to Pipes or Pipes to Cigars?

I started with the pipe and when I discovered quality cigars, particularly Cubans, I realized how much richer the flavor was, how much easier, no-fuss cigars are. So I will soon sell all of my cellared pipe tobacco and pipes, and focus on a modest Cuban cigar collection.

    Perique

Oof, careful with pure perique. That's a trap for sure xD
