I have a bottle opener that looks like a pipe. Was a gift we gave out years ago to our Mac Baren customer stores.
The weirdest thing I’ve seen was the “Sexy Meerschaum Calendar” - a trend in the early 1900s to carve porn scenes into Meerschaum pipes
A few years ago, Tobacco Pipes sent me a little PAD squeeze ball - kind of a cute thought.
P&C used to give away all sorts of branded stuff on IPSD, but stopped after so many customers whined about getting free shit.
"This free thing you gave me isn't exactly perfect for what I want, I would have preferred a different color and am one of only two that would want my hyper, over-specific color, worst CS ever, 0/100!"
Yep, it was pretty much exactly that.

Smokingpipes are currently giving away an Erik Nording bobblehead with each Nording pipe purchase.
Not a tobacco company but, I remember the cartoon caption contest on here. I was pretty good. I won a tin each of Autum Evening, 5 o'clock Shadow, a Brigham pipe, a Rossi pipe , and two t-shirts.
GH on occasion used to give away swing-top canisters if you bought a pound of bulk. I have two or three that now hold loose tea or tea bags.
How about a explosive company with a pipe giveaway?

I'm sure there's countless examples. I heard recently elsewhere of someone going out of their way to leave a negative review on a blend because the printed out paper label attached to the plastic Ziploc bag it came in had the year misprinted on it and the seller didn't have time to go get new labels printed and re-do all the labels and packaging.
Or not long ago when C&D decided to do a special label for Briar Fox for winter... just a temporary label change, and people found reason to cry about that. It's a fking label on a container that you'll throw away when you jar it or finish it. "Shouldn't made a new label when it's a same blend" o "scammer shill marketing something something something".
Like, when did everyone become such babies? Apparently at least as early as 2015...
They could put 100 dollar bills in tins and people would complain on how they were folded.
If they kept all the swag and went with free shipping, I'd be happy.
