Not Much of Interest Smoking Wise Today . . . . . just another
Bantam Falcon Bowl Break-in with straight
Sutliff Lat and a
cheap cigar or two. Ho hum and not worth a picture. So let's go to the TA-DA!!! New arrival in the mail this afternoon:
You may be wondering what this music (Fritz Kreisler's Tambourine Chinois) has to do with the new Falcon Stack bowl I just got a few hours ago. Actually, quite a lot.
I remember beginning to learn the Kreisler in 4th year University, and wondering "How on Earth am I going to play this 2 1/2 minute monster? More technique packed into this beastie than quite a few concertos.
I'm saying the same thing about the Stack bowl. Not confronted anything like this before. Guess I'll have to find out the same way -
I tackled "Tambo" head on and, although not one of my frequent encores, did perform it as an encore a few times and as I said yesterday, I had planned on including it on a concert when I was programmed to play the Mozart Violin Concerto #3, when covid nailed us.
Any suggestions as to how to approach the stack would be welcomed. In the meantime, I thought a few of you might like to hear this nifty little piece of terror

in an incredible live performance by the master Fritz Kreisler himself.
Enjoy. See y'all tomorrow.
