I finally sent my SS gift out this afternoon- it should arrive by the 19th.

A few minutes ago I let the dogs out and found a nice sized package on my front porch. It has my house address on it but no recipient’s name. I’m thinking it’s from Secret Santa.

I had the same thing happen today. Shipped mine out and came home and received.

That’s the top lister slapping us as a bottom listers.

Mine also said fragile. Which could only mean one thing. You sir, also are on the verge of being a proud owner of a Waterford Crystal tobacco drying tray!!!!!!!

I got my package today, if my phone camera weren't busted I'd take a picture of the haul but I got some really good looking and well aged tins that I'm not familiar with, along with some pipe cleaners cause I always need pipe cleaners. There were also some loose beans in the box and I dont know where those came from but it was funny and made the box sound interesting as I grabbed it.

Tins included, C&D Bijou aged a few years, Interlude which is bursting at the seams, and Anthology 1992-2022 which also looks super tasty. New to me is Castello Flammata which is a tasty looking Va/Per, Cringle Flake from 23 and 22, and I snagged a tin from someone on the forum but I now have another tin of Per Jensen's Paradoxical which looks absolutely up my alley. I gotta up my smoking game these all look delicious, thank you and som besths to my secret santa!

I have seen it all! The good Lord can take me home now!

Here in northeast we received a few inches of snow, a couple hours of warmup, then followed by near zero degrees, which meant melted snow turned into a thick sheet of ice. After it stopped snowing I cleared off the car, steps, sidewalk, and applied salt. A neighbor decided to wait until this morning to clean off her car and she was of course met with three inches of snow encrusted ice.

Now, the kicker is the instrument to scrape. She is attempting to clean and scrape off her new car with a ….. frying pan. Yes. A frying pan. A non-stick, well loved frying pan that she pulled from the back of the car.

I have seen it all. Lord take me home.
