Its been a busy week and I have been alternating the Vauen Olaf bent egg and the Barontini 1/2 spigot bent billiard with Sutliff 507-C. I came to realize I have had about 6 or 8 absolutely perfect bowls of tobacco in a row.. I surmise it was because I was busy and each time loaded the pipe without thinking before running out the door. I guess it pays to not overthink the simple things. Load and go. Getting ready for snowmageddon tonight ... we have a chance of up to an inch of snow ... ;) puffy

At the in-laws for early Christmas stuff, we're only going to be here a day, all I have open at the moment that I want is War Horse Bar and I didn't feel like cutting a bowl's worth off the plug and bagging it, so I grabbed We Three Kings since it was near the front and I thought it might be the least inoffensive of everything that was in plain sight.

I like it. Definitely taste those spices, but they're not overwhelming, kind of the perfect level and go well with the oriental. Almost chai tea like.

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Tomato the Brave was at the door when I opened it, and I fed him well. Daisy the Feral Princess came in eat some more as did Harry the Hairy. All of them left after they ate.

Wrapped up yesterday afternoon's ranch chores with a bowl of WCC Rouxgaroux in my non-lat non-aro pipe, a Stefano Santambrogio smooth bent Rhodesian, while watching wifey do some last-minute groundwork with the mustang. Sad to see another gem get the axe, but I'm grateful to @Questionable Source for the Brobdingnagian sample. 9/10

Now enjoying the 2nd to last bowl of a jar of Drew Estate Grand Central in my aromatic pipe, a Savinelli Miele 641 KS smooth bent apple. Have yet to find another quite like this. 9/10

Cumulative bird report: Dark-eyed junco, California towhee, California scrub-jay, California quail, Oak titmouse, American crow, Steller's jay, White-crowned sparrow, Chipping sparrow, House finch, Northern flicker, American robin, White-breasted nuthatch, Mountain chickadee, and Spotted towhee.

Enjoyed two giant steak and chicken burritos, bunches of pistachios, two slices of pecan pie, a small bowl of vanilla bean ice cream, and a golden delicious apple lunch. I'm smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. The last of this bag of Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink. Going to clean a few pipes.
