This morning I flushed mailed the baggie of reindeer poop package to my unlucky victim match. Nothing good can last forever in this world: I guess I now have to join the top list.

Oh yeah, and I received my Som Besths package today too! I'll open it this evening.

I was going to wait to open my package until after work. But human nature being what it is, I knew I wasn't going to get anything done until I opened the box. So I did, and I was wowed!



(A bag of Mac Baren Old Dark Fired came along too, but didn’t make it into the photo).

Almost all are new to me. I've only ever had a single bowl of ODF (right before the shutdown), and one of Cabbies. I've been unable to buy or trade for Cabbies at all, and by the time I got interested in Maestro Puccini, it was all gone. I've wanted to try Cumberland for a while now, and Sillem's Black sounds (and smells) like an interesting one to try too. To top it off, a nice handwritten note with information about them all!

Thank you very much, Santa @Pypkė : you've made my day and week! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

The Christmas Eagle has landed!
I have not yet deduced who this generous Secret Santa is, if indeed such deduction is possible, but whoever you are: thank you!! This assortment of great tobacco and the lovely little meerschaum figural pipe have truly brought the spirit of Som Besths into my home - it just won’t leave, and we’ve accepted that now!
Bonus points for the fun letter, Revlon pipe tool, and homemade pipe sock! I was just tickled pink, I can tell this Secret Santa did some good reconnaissance. Som Besths to all, and to all a good pipe!
