Well today was the final straw as the saying goes. Canada Post came to my door with my latest purchase. I told them to send it back.
The duty and taxes due was $560.00
So I will ration out what little remains of my tiny stock and when that is done, then so am I.

I would think outside the box if only a hour or two away from the nearest US State and bring back the exempted amount. Probably not feasible.

But yeah we want to know - how much tobacco was that fee assessed on?

I had to due a currency converter to USD to grasp how insane that is. My mind is blown.

I’ve picked up on posts in the past that the price is outrageous there. And I fear it’s coming our way as well at some point

I would grow my own, or find a grower willing to sell whole leaf at a reasonable price. But I prefer whole leaf tobacco anyway
