Is there an actual cure for TAD? Or am I doomed?

Is there a support group?

My wallet wants to know 😭

Took a long hiatus from keeping up with the forums - and in that time discovered some blends I really enjoyed and wanted to stock up on are no more.

Now I found myself cellaring deeper the blends I know I love, and buying tins that reading reviews I feel like I would like.

Six seperate purchases in the last 3 weeks 🙈

You do not want a cure. Tobacco is never going to get cheaper. Pricing has nearly doubled in the past ten years. Great blends become a shadow of their former selves. Or are discontinued. The anti smoking Nazis are slowly but surely winning. When your cellar is large enough to last until you're 100, you may then look for the cure.

Good news at this stage you know what you like, me too. I have 3 tins of Marlin Flake I have to collect from the post tomorrow, can’t wait to try, know I will like. Every year that goes by these days more cellaring is a better and better option… whoops

No.
Or am I doomed?
Yes.
Is there a support group?
Yes, but it's not particularly...supportive.

Take a closer look. By this point, your wallet will be so microscopically tiny that it should barely retain the properties of a solid.

That is a punishable offense. Please PM a mod immediately, and follow their instructions.

Nevermind. That outcome is punishment enough.

Good luck!

Absolutely right about it never getting cheaper. Granted, I’m relatively new to the pipe smoking world - but I found these order from 2020 with prices way lower.

Not only that, excise taxes now.

And it appears no more ordering from Estervals - always got a ton of Salty Dogs and Veermaster through them for way less all in plus shipping for what it would have cost to purchase stateside in CONUS. I had thought I had enough - but it wasn’t and I smoked it all even the ones I was aging

Tobacco has only gotten cheaper. Central bankers and parasitic beurocrats, however, HAVE devalued the representative value of your labor by half in the last ten years...

Agreed to all other points tho haha

This is only true if you have no kids or dislike them. I have cellared so deeply my son is likely set for life, as well... and I still squeak in a purchase here or there. ;)
