@VDL_Piper kinda prodded me into trying them based on a Q&A I had with him on them a few years back. I’m glad I listened to him as literally every single one I’ve gotten has been above reproach.
The 55’s have a love hate thing going and probably one of the most loved or most hated shapes Extent.
I have one that’s a 4K with an Army Mount that smokes just heavenly. They draft well, have great chamber dimensions and are nice sitters too !

Found some Thanksgiving Day from 2017 in that recent cellar purchase, so I thought I'd see what the hype was about. Tried it first in my new-to-me Peterson 504 thanks to a purchase from a forum member. Based on the toppings I read about, I didn't think I'd like it.
I was wrong.
Pretty good after all.





Then I tried it in a rusticated 309 in my rotation.
Even better in that.



This single ounce will be gone pretty soon I think.

I was recently sidelined from smoking due to a sinus infection as well and didn't smoke for a week and a half. Hope you get well soon and maybe even a little palate reset.

University Flake in this GBD New Standard (replacement stem). I bought this years ago at the old Uptown Smoke shop in Nashville. I paid very little intending to have a new stem with the appropriate logo made for it. It’s such a fine smoker, I decided to leave well enough alone. It smokes great with everything I put in it! $30 bargain!
