Got a chance to play and sing at my church’s fall market, and then rode a bicycle around white rock lake with my wife for the first time in four years. I used to ride my bike to work and back every day and then around the lake a few times each week - my wife has been riding again for about a month and she was in way better shape. I’ve always liked the annual pipes from the Hunting series. It’s a brilliant idea — shaping and coloring each pipe to match a specific animal. What’s great is that the maker never abandoned the concept and continues to release new editions every year. I recently saw a couple of unsmoked ones for sale — The Wild Boar 2000 and The Wild Turkey 2006. At this point, they’re practically antiquesView attachment 428097Just filled the racks in the garage with just under half a cord of firewood (no I didn’t cut it - comes kiln dried in big ole bags on pallets, lol) and feeling self-satisfied and ready for winter by the fireplace.
