Thanks man! It's been a little neglected lately. I need to correct that!Wow that is quite a nice blast, especially on the shank. All over you know, but I feel like I rarely see such good blasting on a shank.
Not really expensive, and one of my best pipes.I use a 9mm charcoal filter which makes a difference for me when I smoke the pipe. This is cool pipe

Kaywoodie with Lazy Bones. Smoking a pipe under clear skies in the southwestern desert in a land free of the wonders of Moroccan tea and bustling street markets full of men and women eager to sell silver plated copper teapots while sitting on handmaid Berber Rugs. This is a land that might sound like Nirvana to a Spanish Pipe smoker just trying to enjoy a glass of bourbon and a nice smoke without being bothered by those who think Spain should return to what it was in 900 AD. Am I right @JOHN72. Either that or start importing Burritos and Margaritas. Either way, Gibraltar remains in the hands of England. Until then, here's to enjoying a nice plate of tapas and getting ones feet wet on the Costa Del Sol.Oho! Good question. Different family and professional obligations have kept me from messing with it, but that is partially by design. The chunks are sitting in my somewhat-humidity-controlled closet-turned-cellar slowly drying out, and I reckon I will pull them out sometime before the end of the year. They were already pretty dry, but then got some rain in the field before I could get them to my table saw etc. so I wanted to give them some time to dry out before I did anything drastic. I’m thinking about taking some even older stuff we have in the shed and trying that out first, it ought to be pretty dang dry. I will keep you posted! You're not joking, but man is it delicious. "Bourbon and chocolate milk" sounds about right! I gained 5 lbs just from the aroma ...
Hey, have you messed with the mesquite wood any more?![]()
My dear friend Douglas. Today, in my little town, we have Californian temperatures, perfect for drinking tequila and eating burritos. But I have to settle for a kebab, Moroccan tea, and some datiles.![]()
