I was stationed at Ft. Bragg from 1980- 84. Loved getting out on days off up around Asheville. Hiking and fly fishing.
I had a great friend from Hickory. Beautiful country.

Now smoking year 2020 C&D Virginia Flake in a straight medium brown 1922-1937 Irish Free State era Peterson 222 bullcap with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Harry the Hairy went out. Daisy the Feral Princess is still in the same spot near my feet and snoozin'.

I seem to be in a mood for elegance today. What a gorgeous pipe! Classic, beautiful grain, and more than a bit of a pedigree. And, I don't remember seeing this one before, which makes it all the better. Gotta do another double!
