I always thought DM= Danish Made, am I wrong? Wont be the first time.

Not to tread on @Sobrbiker 's toes, but in this context, I believe DM stands for Danmarksmesterskabet which just means "Danish Championship." DM could be used for the Danish Championships in any field or sport. Even pipesmoking -- as in the DM i Langtidspiberygning (DM in Slow Pipe-smoking). Cheers!

Almost half way through this bowl of KBV Dubai Chocolate beta test in a medium bend fumed tan crackled year 2020 Ahmet Govem reverse calabash meerschaum with a military mount silver band and black acrylic stem. Finally got a handle on what this blend is as I write a review of it.
Now smoking year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Friend in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

The mail was delivered early today, so I'm getting to enjoy something new to me. First smoke of Peter Heinrich's Dark Strong Flake. Smoking it in a Savinelli Smoking Pipes 25th anniversary bent billiard, with black french roast. Very impressed so far!

Stanwell stamps DM and year on pipes they make for the Danish Smoking Championships, and NM/year, FM/year, etc for other championships-usually straight billiards, lovats, etc.
That’s why I was curious about the freehand. I figured “Danish made” is what you meant, but I also didn’t know for sure that they never did a freehand championship version (which they could do, if the chambers and airways were standardized pipe to pipe I guess).
