Enjoyed three double egg, ham and cheddar cheese open face sandwiches and a golden delicious apple for lunch. I'm near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan Special 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem. Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink.

Always love seeing this beautiful pipe. The narrowish bowl, and light amber color give it real character! :)👍👍

Well, did a bit of catchup and "like" posting, and commented on a few pipes that caught my eye this morning.

Three smokes since last post. I'll give them to you in retrograde order. Right now, as I type, my usual cheap stogie. A Phillies Blunt grape flavoured. Enjoying it with a cup of cold coffee.

Followed my instincts of last nights post, and my final smoke of yesterday was indeed Magnum Opus in my wonderful "Li'l Pete". I really wish I could make out the actual designation on this pipe, but it's smudged (probably a second) but . . . . "Li'l Pete" will do until some expert enlightens me.

This is my very best "sipping pipe." You don't "draw" on this one. Smallish bowl, small draft tube . . . . ya sip on this one. From the beginning (after break-in) this marvellous little pipe took to complex lat-based fodder like MO, Bengal Slices, and other similar Balkans. I love these tobaccos, and this is the tool I go to now with my re-alignment. Sat back and actually relaxed for well over an hour . . . . let all the troubles of the world go by. This is a great Brahms Symphony pipe. puffy

Began my morning by watching a few news flashes (cray) with my usual MM STC Miniature Cob, for a decent 20 minute smoke (which was more than enough given the "entertainment", with my own home brew (now in rotation) Gord's Grape Mix, which is a nice foil to the usual morning cherry.

I'm about to return to the "gnus" and see if I actually saw what I saw online, or if it was only a bad dream. Crazy. Will finish the rest of the cigar whilst doing so.

Leave for stitch removal and other goodies at 2:00 PM. Hopefully they'll remove this hideous catheter, as well, but . . . . it is what it is. Will definitely in any case have restricted mobility for a few days at least, but looking forward to a visit from a few friends tomorrow or day after, hopefully to "break in" my new outdoor backyard picnic table with an as of yet undecided smoke. If it stops raining and warms up. As my English side says, "It's bloody cold out there." Summer has not yet arrived, and the days are getting shorter.

I shall return. Have a great Monday, one and all! 😃

No, but it's still a looker!! 😃
It sure is. Look at how the grain pops out now. The original gloss didn't last more than a year. I got it on my birthday in 2021, and smoking one bowl a day for most of that time sure made a heckuva change. Same goes for the Heritage brown and the Terracotta. Even the Ebony shows a little grain now.

Love seeing pipes change or patina.
