I remember on Reddit some years ago, any discussion about the Vegas shooter was quashed with cries of "too soon". It became a meme which wore thin after the first year, but it worked - there was no discussion, ever.

But no, when a forum owner/admin boots you for replying too often, getting too many likes, and replying to a thread over 3 months old..

I completely misread the title of this thread. I thought it was about Ritalin and Necromancy.
Ah PSD.
Lets see, I put "serious offers only" on my for sale thread because a couple of the local air heads kept using my thread to just have a conversation, completely irrelevant to the purpose of what I had posted for (selling tobacco, in that part of the website for selling tobacco, shocking I know).
Every time they chatted I'd get a notification thinking someone was interested in the sale, instead its just these bozos talking about nothing. When I asked the mods to clear it up they didn't. Instead I get pulled in a PM with 5 mods, who couldn't comprehend that I wanted to use my thread for selling tobacco and not idle conversation. They did nothing about it, I got fed up, told them to kick rocks and was promptly banned. I wish I screen shotted that whole conversation, it was wild.
Luckily this website is run by normal, level headed folks who make the sure nonsensical chatter is kept out of buying/selling threads and I've never had an issue here.
The main characters over at PSD are some overly chummy babbling tool bags. All sensitive too. It’s better to lurk there than post there IMO.
I don't know what this is about, but you had me at necromancy.

@Peter Turbo, sucks when places have rules and don't just let people do whatever they want. Life can be so unfair.
Speaking of sensitive, the three of you seem to have been emotionally scarred by your experiences on PSD. I imagine real life must be almost unbearable.

Not trolling. I just don't like when people make up stories to justify their behavior. Notice, not one of them takes any responsibility at all for the consequences of their actions.

Maybe not "should" but, in many cases it happens. Friendships are often based on such.

No matter what forum you're on, there are always those that like every single post, regardless of the content, it's just what they do.

I think by know they would have stopped if they were merely looky loos as you would implie.
Hell, on photrio i still get random responses to threads i posted. and its been 2 years now.
