Happy Birthday Gord !Well, I'm now officially the 3rd longest living male on either side of the family, and I'll tie my cousin Wally next year on this same date as tied for 2nd. Yup, made it to 74 today. Celebrated my wakeup with my favourite small cigar, a Colt Whiskey, and after a few chores, I'll be gone most of the day - unwanted festivities and extravaganzas, as you'd expect)

Good day all! Started with Peterson Elizabethan Mixture in a dedicated Tilshead smooth Billiard with long saddle stem.
A third of the way through this bowl of KBV Jupiter Slices 7.1 in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production.
Abner the Eager was waiting for m'lady when she came home. He used to follow us to the house, but he got used to me picking him up to avoid other ferals, so now he waits for that. After he ate, he decided to take a snooze on m'lady.

I opened a jar of Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake from 2013. Back then I was still storing tobacco in huge jars. So, I have about 8oz open now. I'll smoke maybe half of that before my winter piping break. Oh well. Smoking in the Celius Root.
Almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Abner the Eager is snoozin' on the couch.
SPC Plum Pudding Special Reserve in the Chacom Champs-Elysées (871 bent apple). I broke up the plug like a year ago, originally bought this tin 2-3 years ago, still haven't finished it, about half through it now. Been a while since I smoked on this pipe, forgot how much I like it.
