My favourite American dramas would be Breaking Bad, Deadwood, Boardwalk Empire and Better Call Saul (I'm up to season 4 and I'm really loving it) and Band Of Brothers.

For UK dramas, Poldark, Line Of Duty, The Detectorists, A Confession plus a few others which would be dramatizations of true crimes.

I enjoy the surprise of enjoyment when I stumble onto something. I stumbled on to The Closer a couple of years ago on reruns and have probably watched the entire series several times now. The spin off was not nearly as interesting.
Admit it guys, some of you have watched Frasier.
