Just finished some Old Joe Krantz Blue in a Rossi Vittoria 614.

@UncleRasta you mentioned in an earlier post a while back about your Vittoria muting flavors. I didn't notice that in mine this time. It could have taken any rough edges off the blend if anything. So this series may in fact do what you suggest, but this blend was strong enough to overcome the muting. I'll keep an eye on it to see if I notice anything with other blends.rossi vittoria 614.jpg

Rubbed out a tiny sample of C&D Folklore (thanks @TheIronMonkey !) to try in my Foyard Beechwood Rhodesian. Tasty stuff! Very few birds this evening; Common raven, Northern flicker, Dark-eyed junco, and some assorted jays and sparrows, heard but not seen. Enjoying a Dos Equis Amber. Homemade chicken noodle soup (from scratch!) on the docket tonight, great for a cold evening.

I did a lot of running around today, so this morning I had bowls of Watch City Stubb's Pipe and MacBaren London Burley. Now I'm smoking Watch City Old Dominion in a Georg Jensen bent brandy. I bought a few ounces almost a year ago and the first bowl of it when I first got it had this weird taste. It tasted like how toe jam smelled and it was kinda off putting. I put it in a jar and just opened it for the first time today and it is noticeably better. No weird funk. I kinda dig it now.
