It seems light to me, but I've smoked a pipe for 50 years and I don't inhale. Good luck. The Old Dark Fired is smoked with hardwood and I don't find it very like Latakia, but apparently others disagree.
Completely agree. It's very different. My intention was that Latakia tastes more like campfire compared with Darl Fired, which tastes to me more like barbecue smoke (if it makes any sense).

In the semi-rural NorthEastern USA
Cornell and Diehl Mountain Camp. It is literally in the name. It always reminds me of camping when I smoke it. Seriously even if you're mentally slow it will take one or two puffs or sips before you think oh that's why it's named that. Great blend that doesn't get talked up much. It's either a Scottish or Englishy blend. Not quite English but very along those lines. It's a typical mild English with Cavendish and Perique which in my opinion adds some extra dimensions to the smoke.
