I always get things done as quickly as possible. I don't actually do the work, but I do have a guy who handles everything. I have an HVAC guy, an electric guy, a plumber guy, a handyman guy, a car mechanic guy, you name it I have a guy for it.

I excel in both directions. I can get hyper and pay bills a month in advance, or I can go stagnant and leave paperwork heaped for many moons. I have a frenzy about certain things, and a sort of blind spot for others, it would seem. I try to moderate both bad habits, and sometimes I succeed.

I forgot to mention I have a girl who handles all of my computer and tv and sound system issues. I see her more than any of the others combined. She is the best. I dropped one of my Dell lap top computers and somehow got me a new one to replace it. I couldn't believe it. My youngest daughter dropped hers and busted it so when she gives me her broken one I will give her the new one and I will send hers in to see if I can get another new one. I also have another back up computer as I refuse to not have a back up computer. I feel naked with out my computer. I suck using my iphone so I use computers not those shitty phones.

I have two sound systems in my house. One for the living room with Cerwin Vegas 15xl speakers and a good sound bar. I have a Denon receiver and a Bosch powered sub woofer. The tv is a 70" Sharp tv. In my bedroom I have a 65" Sharp tv with a good sound bar, some Cambridge Sound Works speakers a Bosch powered sub and a Denon receiver. I can do some real damage with either system.

In all of my lines of work, there are no “do-overs” nor do I ever have the luxury of asking fir more time. If I don’t do it now, it might be raining tomorrow, so the only thing I can put off til later is sleep.
Sure, I have people that help me or work for me or whatever you want to call it. But, I have very little faith in people, so in all endeavors, I am right there. I did fall asleep on my tractor once…. scary shit. But, it’s just as scary to fall asleep at my workbench with my torch on. Sometimes…. I fail myself.

It all depends on what it is that I'm doing or not doing.
I plan on buying Christmas gifts in October. I buy them within 2-3 days before Christmas.
I'm supposed to wait at least a year until my Patriot Flake matures and mellows. I open the tin within a week of gettin it.

I once procrastinated in fixing my wife's blender - my wife the serious baker. She was working under a deadline and the mixer failed again. She went berserk. I quietly took the control board out of the mixer, removed the electronic tach, wired the motor to a rheostat, and the whole fix took about fifteen minutes. She still wanted her pound of flesh - "if it was that simple, why did you wait so long to do it?" I said, "it was only easy because I waited so long."

So for twenty five years now, instead of saying "I'm procrastinating," we say "I'm letting it get easy."

I find that in reality scheduling is meaningless - Something always gets in the way
I'd be a terrible surgeon uh-oh planning and me don't mix - I'm a go with the flow kind of guy - which usually means I'm a sedentary sack of shit
