I've been lucky, but it just ran out. Re-opened my pound bag of Planta Full English to replenish a jar, and found this:

13047

So I threw out the infected part, and will be careful with the rest.

I opened the bag about six months ago, and carefully resealed it after replenishing the jar. But I must have introduced spores from my hand or the air in the few moments the mylar bag was open.

The tobacco is fairly damp, but I won't have a reading until tomorrow morning.

Just so you know when mold starts it spreads through the host like capillaries so the whole bag is affected whether it looks that way or not. Just like a loaf of bread you can’t just throw out the moldy end.
