Thank you for joining us for The Pipes Magazine Radio Show—the only radio talk show for pipe smokers and collectors. We broadcast weekly, every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern USA time and are available on nearly all podcast sites and apps. Listen on your computer, tablet, phone and even in the car! Our featured interview is with Steve Fallon, a.k.a “PipeStud”. Steve has a well-known consignment-auction business for estate pipes and vintage tobaccos for which he also has some great stories. Steve is a former sports caster and currently works for the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. In our opening segment, Brian will review Cornell & Diehl’s “Crooner”. It’s unique in that it contains tiny bits of leaves from the plant, Deertongue. It is also is an authentic copy of Bing Crosby’s private blend, shared with C&D by one of his closest friends. Sit back, relax with your pipe, and enjoy The Pipes Magazine Radio Show!
Tonight’s show is sponsored by SmokingPipes.com, Cornell & Diehl, Missouri Meerschaum, and Savinelli Pipes and Tobaccos. Please give them some consideration when making your next pipe or tobacco purchase.
We hope you enjoy our 1-hour show produced just for you—the pipe smoker and collector. The following link will launch a pop-up player. Alternatively, you can download the show in iTunes and other podcast sites and apps after the initial broadcast is complete here.

Man, that was a great show! Steven was an absolutely terrific guest. Your easy conversation, both informative and entertaining, made it seem as if we, the listeners, were seated around a table with you, at a pipe show.
And, by the way, I’d like to share a pipe with you guys at the Chicago Show, in May.
Great photo of PipeStud and Jiminks.
SRV’s song for his wife, was just the right touch. I enjoyed the rant, too.
Thanks, again, for an hour well spent.

Yeah, it was a very pleasant hour. Thought the review of “Crooner” was good tho’ I’d never touch the stuff myself.
Just simply a great interview with the Pipestud. Nothing like listening to two old friends chatting about various things. Steve and his wife are just amazing. It seems like every last one of us who are Steve’s customers have asked him to hold something for us if it came in. No luck.
I didn’t care for the music. Would much prefer to listen to an acoustic guitar.
Your rant was right on the mark.
I really enjoyed this show. I’d like to see regular tobacco reviews… you have a knack for it. Steve Fallon’s voice is a national treasure. Some of my favorite pipes came from Steve’s Ebay store and I highly recommend it to others. You could play SRV every show and I’d be happy. Lenny is such a classic. My favorite version is from a live bootleg right before they divorced. It was the last time he ever played the song live and you could almost hear the sound of joyous freedom in his guitar tone and phrasing.
