Thank you for joining us for The Pipes Magazine Radio Show—the only radio talk show for pipe smokers and collectors. We broadcast weekly, every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern USA time and are available on nearly all podcast sites and apps. Listen on your computer, tablet, phone and even in the car! Tonight’s show will be co-hosted by Thom Provost, a.k.a. TheeDiabeticMan in the YouTube Pipe Community. Thom is a pipe collector, smoker, and prominent social media piper. Brian and Thom will discuss what they are smoking on the show, in both pipes and tobaccos. Thom will share his experiences popping vintage tins of tobacco that are 35+ years old. Sometimes there are amazing results – other times, not so much. We will also have music, mailbag, and a  rant. Sit back, relax with your pipe, and enjoy The Pipes Magazine Radio Show!

Tonight’s show is sponsored by SmokingPipes.com, Cornell & Diehl, and Savinelli Pipes and Tobaccos. Please give them some consideration when making your next pipe or tobacco purchase.

We hope you enjoy our 1-hour show produced just for you—the pipe smoker and collector. The following link will launch a pop-up player. Alternatively, you can download the show in iTunes and other podcast sites and apps after the initial broadcast is complete here.

  • Your show reminded me of the KC Pipe Show and it’s vintage tobacco table. We’d put out 4-7 tins of some very old stuff for people to enjoy. They really liked the 50 year old tin of cigarettes that we had.
The best tin I ever opened was a tin of Cope’s Escudo that was 40 years old. People who tried said it was the best tobacco they had ever tasted.
Loved “Soul Man” by the Blues Brothers. Just tremendous. R.I.P. “Guitar Man” Murphy.

  • I haven’t had the opportunity to meet Mr. Jensen but I did have a good chat with Mark Ryan at the KC show. He is such a neat and friendly guy. I enjoyed the music this week as well. Pleasant smokes

  • I enjoyed the show tonight, just as I always do. the conversation with Thom felt like 2 friends hanging out while the rest of us enjoy listening to the great stories. It’s amazing how old this tins are by the time the are opened and smoked! The oldest I have tried is a tin of HH pure Virginia with 3 years of age. I look forward to trying more in the future. It’d been a long time since i listened to that song, really liked it. Keep it up Brian the show gives me something to look forward to in the middle of the week as I listen to the show while at work. Happy trails..
