The Pipes Magazine Radio Show – Episode 231

Kevin Godbee
Thank you for joining us for The Pipes Magazine Radio Show—the only radio talk show for pipe smokers and collectors. We broadcast weekly, every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern USA time and are available on nearly all podcast sites and apps. Listen on your computer, tablet, phone and even in the car! Our Featured Interview tonight is with  Basil Meadows, maker of Reddog Pipes and Bullitt Proof Cobs. The cobs are Missouri Meerschaum pipes that have been customized with a heavy-duty shank and stem. His standard briar pipes are mostly in classic shapes with a few on the artistic side. They are reasonably priced for handmade artisan pipes. In the Pipe Parts segment, Brian will talk about rare WWII era pipes to keep your eye out for, such as Dunhill and Dr. Grabow. Sit back, relax with your pipe, and enjoy The Pipes Magazine Radio Show!

Tonight’s show is sponsored by Sutliff-Tobacco.com, SmokingPipes.com, Cornell & Diehl, and Savinelli Pipes and Tobaccos. Please give them some consideration when making your next pipe or tobacco purchase.

We hope you enjoy our 1-hour show produced just for you—the pipe smoker and collector. The following link will launch a pop-up player. Alternatively, you can download the show in iTunes and other podcast sites and apps after the initial broadcast is complete here.

  • Really good show. Really glad to see you are getting off the road at long last. The road will wear you down.
Good interview with Basil. He seemed a genuine person that isn’t full of himself. He looks like he predates mud but he sure has an attractive daughter.
