Hi Brian!
I really enjoyed your conversation with Ronni, with regard to tobaccos and pipe maintenance. As I rarely smoke more than a bowl a day, I believe in thoroughly cleaning the pipe after each use. But, I’m retired, and have more than 70 pipes in constant rotation, so it’s no big deal. I know that when I get back to a pipe, more than a month later, it’ll be clean and fresh.
Nice upbeat choice of music, Ronni.
As always, an entertaining show. Thanks.
Dino
An entertaining show. I guess you and I are quite a bit off on bowl shapes. I find the “V” to be very hot smoking the more you go down the bowl. The “U” is much cooler and I have no problem smoking all the tobacco.
I respect the people who mix and match their tobaccos; lord knows I can’t do it. I suspect most of us adapt to the way the manufacturer wanted it to taste. I think if most of us did it we would end up something far fouler than we began with.
Ronni pointed out the problem with pipe repair today. People simply will not pay to have it done.
Good show Brian. Ronnie is a great source of knowledge. Music was very choice and I enjoyed it very much. Be great if Kevin thought of putting the shows song playlists somewhere on the site.
As for your rant, I am always disheartend by the lack of options for a smokers in this new age. Very sad indeed. Do we really have to get used to being considered second class citizens by the non-smoking public?
