Thank you for joining us for The Pipes Magazine Radio Show—the only radio talk show for pipe smokers and collectors. We broadcast weekly, every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern USA time and are available on nearly all podcast sites and apps. Listen on your computer, tablet, phone and even in the car! Our Featured Interview tonight is with Steve Monjure of Monjure International. Steve has been in the pipes and tobaccos business for 20-years and is the importer distributor of several popular product lines, including Ardor Pipes, and Brebbia pipes and tobaccos. In the “Pipe Parts” segment, Brian will talk about the global tobacco industry. It is quite interesting to hear about what it is like in other parts of the world. We also have our 2nd week of the annual auction to raise funds for Brian’s daughter’s Juvenile Diabetes Walk Team. Sit back, relax with your pipe, and enjoy The Pipes Magazine Radio Show!
Tonight’s show is sponsored by Sutliff-Tobacco.com, CupOJoes.com, SmokingPipes.com, Missouri Meerschaum, 4noggins.com, Cornell & Diehl, and Savinelli Pipes and Tobaccos. Please give them some consideration when making your next pipe or tobacco purchase.
We hope you enjoy our 1-hour show produced just for you—the pipe smoker and collector. The following link will launch a pop-up player. Alternatively, you can download the show in iTunes and other podcast sites and apps after the initial broadcast is complete here.

Hi Brian,
Tobacco has had a varied history from where it is grown to the many uses it has found.
Steve Monjure has been a friend for many years. He also represents Rinaldo pipes. I have obtained many a fine pipes from him. One quote attributed by our club members to me is “I have never met a Rinaldo Pipe that I didn’t like”. It has been that way since he brought them into the USA. Steve is a pleasure to know and work with. Our club just had some custom pipes made by one of his companies and they were superb.
Music – I have no idea what it is from, but would guess something Disney.
Rant – People are strange (sounds like a song. Maybe they couldn’t read?
Great show. I enjoyed the interview with Steve.
Enjoyed the show, particularly the discussion of tobaccos around the world.
Steve Monjure has been a major figure in the pipe business for quite a while. He is a major player in presenting Italian pipes to the American market. He is a genuinely good person and a great supporter of pipe shows.
I am proud to say I have no idea where the music selection came.
The amazing thing is not that people won’t read a sign that is right in front of them, but that they will act offended if you point it out to them.
