Hi Brian,
Sounds like you had a nice time in KC and St Louis. It is nice to see that the show will go on next year.
I do not think I have met Ethan Brandt. His schooling and interests are quite vast and fit in well with the pipe. His chart is good guide for a beginner. Not being much of an imbiber, I don’t have the experience that Ethan possesses. I liked his comments on the Russian carvers. Nice Interview.
Jethro Tull – Surprised it was not Aqualung.
Rave/Brag – It is nice to have kids that do not feel into peer pressure. Likewise you smoke the pipe and tobacco that enjoy. Stick to your guns.
Do we really have to listen to this show – every week? I know I must have succumbed to peer pressure- yeah, sure.
Great show – keep up the good work.
Hi Brian,
Enjoyable show, wish I could have gotten over to St. Louis. But had other obligtions that I could not get out of no matter how much I wanted. Sounds like you had a nice trip and at least you had some time to unwind.
Ethan’s articles have been reintroducing me to some of the great older mixed drinks. I had forgotten a lot of the original greats since trends have brought us such horrific drinks as a peanutbutter-tini. Look forward to the Absente drip article, I had Absente several years ago when I was in Hong Kong and just got back into it a few months ago. So I am interested to see if he comes up with some of the same obsevations as I.
Peer presssure was the buzz when I was at school too, but, if you are taught correctly by your parents it is easier to ignore.
Great show and look forward to seeing all in Chicago.
Brian
Awesome interview! Would love to see that xenomorph pipe by Andrey Savenko. I googled it but nothing came up.
