Our Featured Interview tonight is with Pipe Maker, Musician, and former officer in the East German army, Nils Thomsen. Our music selection will also be from Nils. Nils Thomsen Performing on Guitar
Hi Brian,
Hard to take Florida when stuck here in the snow. Sounds like you meeting was a quite different experience.
Of course, Nils Thomsen is a name with which I am not familiar. He sounds like he enjoys his pipe making. His shop sounds very interesting. He carries everything for his customers. OF course, anyone that plays guitar must be OK.
Music – I liked ‘Slow SMokin’
Rant-Part 1 – US Air complaint form being too short and they tried to snowball you. Why would you think they would really be interested in your comments?
I will wait until part 2 next week.
Superb as always, Brian! Off to pack & smoke my Nils Thomsen. Already had a Björn Eglund already. 🙂
Shame one can’t edit one’s comments. I didn’t smoke my Eglund twice and I’m not incapable of using English either, guess my thinking is just too fast for my fingers. Anyway, Nils Thomsen will be on my to-visit list for my next visit to Berlin, hopefully this summer. I met him in person at the “World Championship” in Cologne in October and had the pleasure of spending the gala dinner in his company. Great guy, cool stories, wonderful piper!
