Pipes Magazine Radio Show Episode 415

Welcome to The Pipes Magazine Radio Show Episode 415! Our featured interview tonight is with our very own tobacco reviewer, Kyle Weiss. Kyle worked at Tinder Box for several years, which gave him the benefit of being able to try out tons of different tobaccos. He has an amazing palate and was also in the culinary industry as a sous chef. He has been writing tobacco reviews for PipesMagazine.com for over four years. His first review on the site was published in April 2016. Kyle has penned 52 reviews for us so far. He was originally recommended by tobacco blender, Greg Pease.  At the top of the show, for our pipe parts segment, we have “Ask the Pipe Maker” with Jeff Gracik.  Sit back, relax with your pipe, and enjoy The Pipes Magazine Radio Show!

• The conversation with Kyle was absolutely fascinating. It was fun to wade around inside the head of a critic. He had some interesting insights to tobacco tasting.
I always enjoy Jody’s music. And, I so agree with your rant.
Thanks for an always entertaining show.

• Liked the show. On the problem with pipes you can’t get a pipe cleaner through I just usually rotate the pipe around the pipe cleaner until it goes through. It works on most pipes except Oom Pauls, of course. If it won’t go through after that sent it to a guy who really knows how to repair. My preference would be an OCD guy who is very anal retentive.
Liked the interview. I was hard pressed to figure out this guy’s journey to becoming a pipe tobacco reviewer. But, I must admit if Greg Pease recommends you it is about the highest of recommendations.
As usual I didn’t like the music.
