By Bob Tate

Samuel Gawith will be re-introducing a blend at the Chicago Pipe Show this year (2009). The blend has been out of production for quite some time and is called Scotch Cut Mixture. Bob and Graham from Samuel Gawith Tobacco will be in attendance at the show.

For the Chicago Show, Samuel Gawith has produced a Limited Edition release of 500 numbered 100gr tins.

Tobacco Description: For this one we have again kept to the original recipe of blended Bright Virginias mixed with ENGLISH Black Cavendish, Burley and Cyprian Latakia. Blended by hand, bulked and forgotten about for about three months, Scotch Cut Mixture epitomizes Traditional English smoking as it used to be.

Unfortunately, I am unable to attend the 2009 Chicago Pipe Show and I will have to wait for the blend to be available from retailers before I can try it.

If you are attending the Chicago Show, be sure to check it out and try to snag one of the Limited Edition tins!
