From the G.L. Pease site:
This is the fifth year for the calendar. Each year’s has been a little different, and this one is no exception. For 2011, I’ve chosen both colour and B&W photos, and am working with both light and dark backgrounds. It’s going to be really striking, and I can’t wait to finish it up and see the proofs! As before, it is published by Lulu Press, and printed on demand. The finished calendar is 13.5" wide by 19" high, spiral bound at the top. It’s printed on beautiful, heavy, smooth coated cover stock to preserve the rich details. They do a fantastic job on the production, and I’m happy to be working with them again. Everyone who has bought this year’s, or previous editions, has been thrilled with the quality.

  • I’ve mentioned it elsewhere, but it bears repeating: Mr. Pease’s photographic skill and artistic sense are as refined as his palate.

  • AWESOME…. the pictures are fantastic. And I particulaly like May, not just because it’s my birth month (hint, hint, if there is a lovely benefical pipe smoker out there). Who made it and what is it called?

  • Thanks for the kind words. This is the fifth year of the calendar, and every year’s is a lot of fun (and work) to produce. I’m already thinking about 2012’s!
May’s pipe was made by Will Purdy. It’s his “Organic Tadpole” shape.

  • Thanks for that Mr P.
If that’s what it’s like as a tadpole, what’s it going to be like as a fully fledged frog? One can only wonder in awe.
