  • I don’t really vary my tobacco preferences with the change in the weather, as I mostly smoke English and Balkan blends year-round. Since my wife doesn’t mind the pungent Latakia smell, I can smoke with the windows closed in the colder months. I never smoke cigars in the house, so those are relegated to warmer months out in the yard, or to local cigar lounges.
I found Russ’ discussion of good available tobaccos to be very enlightening. It’s imperative to the growth of our community among younger smokers to enjoy what is available and not always bemoan what was lost. I look forward to more explorations with your guests on this topic.
I hope your listeners enjoyed the music selection.
You and I are on the same page with the dislike of cold fruit.
Some small fruit, berries and grapes particularly, are more refreshing served slightly cool. But all other fruit should be served at room temperature, so that the flavors can be fully savored.
Thanks for an always entertaining show.
