  • A very nice wrap-up of the ZOOM group “Dickensian” project. This group and the friends, new and old, with whom I’ve been able to share time, on a weekly basis, is one of those rare positives from the negative Covid pandemic “captivity.” I know that others have participated in similar ZOOM groups over the past year, and it’s a testament to the incredible camaraderie of the pipe smoking community.
Billy Squier? This is not in my Christmas tunes rotation. I was 35 when this came out, but I remember the fun MTV video, the catchy tune and the clever lyric.
Your closing comments were spot-on. It’s more important to be real and warm in your “holiday” greetings than “correct.”
I pray you have great and meaningful gatherings this season, my brothers and sisters!

  • Very good show. Seems like the group all got a chance to speak and they did it very well. I Noticed that Brad Pohlmann got a lot of requests for a pipe which he didn’t reply to. I would sure love to have one of his pipes but he is unfortunately out of my price range. I found it very funny when one of the guys said he was set on pipes and wouldn’t be buying any more. About keeled over laughing. Music was fairly good. Surprising that I have never heard of the artist.
